The project comprises the development of approximately 1,500 sq m of light industrial “starter” units. The development includes 13 units, of approximately 100 sq m each, arranged around a central courtyard.
As part of the wider Craigmillar regeneration, PARC have identified an unmet demand for additional small, affordable industrial space. The acquisition of this land for development, adjacent to EDI’s existing industrial units at Peffermill Industrial Estate, will satisfy a strategic economic objective of the PARC regeneration company by providing good quality, local workspace.
The Peffermill Parc development has received detailed planning consent, and is scheduled for completion by October 2008.
