PARC Steps into the Future

Sales & Information Centre Opens Door to Long Term VisionPARC is offering visitors a glimpse into Craigmillar's future today (Tuesday 11th March), at a special event marking the launch of the ParcLife Sales and Information Centre.
The launch, hosted by PARC, the organisation managing the £180 million regeneration of Craigmillar, will be attended by Councillor Gordon MacKenzie, Chair of PARC, who will be keynote speaker.
The Sales & Information Centre is a new multi-purpose facility, which will not only promote and generate sales homes being marketed by ParcLife, but will also provide an information point for the local community about ongoing progress of the wider regeneration of Craigmillar.
The opening of the Sales and Information Centre marks the first sales phase of the 3,000 new homes being built in Edinburgh’s Green Quarter.
Within days of becoming available to first round customers, the company exceeded all expectations with over 60% of the first phase snapped up by buyers. The first set of 51 new homes marketed by ParcLife, were partially released on 14 February, of which 30 were reserved. The remainder of the houses will go on sale shortly.
The centre will offer visitors further information on the major investment programme which will include a new town centre, more new primary schools, a new community high school, and library, and 150-acres of surrounding green space transformed into a network of parks, river walkways, open woodland, play areas and a new community woodland and arboretum.
Joining the Councillors at the innovative new centre for the photo-call will be representatives from PARC and the local community. Interviews will be available on the day.
